JAGUAR LAND ROVER
One of our aims in working with Diplomatic Community has been to connect with Diplomats and colleagues to enable them to see what Jaguar Land Rover can offer.
As a brand Jaguar Land Rover recognise that Diplomatic life is not easy, both on the individuals within the Diplomatic Community, but also for an Embassy’s cars. They are often called on to cope with everything from fast, late night runs to the airport to hours of city traffic. They must carry their VIP occupants in comfort and serenity, yet convey the prestige of the nation they represent without excessive ostentation. Above all, they must represent good value to the taxpayers footing the bill.
It’s a daunting checklist.
So, it’s little surprise that Jaguar Land Rover vehicles are the choice of many nations for Diplomatic work.
The only automotive manufacturer to hold all three Royal Warrants, Jaguar Land Rover is built around two iconic car brands: Land Rover, the world’s leading producer of premium all-wheel drive vehicles; and Jaguar, one of the world’s premier luxury sports saloon and sports car marques.
Our sales have more than doubled in the last five years, across 200+ countries around the world. Owned by India’s Tata Motors Limited since 2008, Jaguar Land Rover has ambitious plans for global growth, opening two new manufacturing plants in the last two years in Brazil and China, with facilities in Slovakia launched this year. The company also has vehicle assembly operations in Austria, India, Malaysia and Pakistan.
Jaguar Land Rover has committed to a 2020 Environmental Innovation Strategy which aims to create opportunities for 12 million people around the world, through a range of humanitarian, environmental and educational initiatives. This includes projects including Australia, Cameroon, Canada, India, Rwanda, South Africa and Uganda.
Our long-standing commitments to electrification have resulted in a succession of ground-breaking developments that are now defining the future of Electric Vehicles (EVs), both on the road and on the track. The new all-electric Jaguar I-PACE, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) are the start of Jaguar Land Rovers vision for this technology and are available today. Electrification is no longer a concept, it’s happening now – and we’re leading the charge.
But if an electric vehicle is not for you right now, and you really would prefer a car with sleek lines and head-turning looks, then the Jaguar F-Type sports car is in a class of its own. It’s almost universally acclaimed as one of the best-looking sports cars on sale. Alternatively, why not explore the Land Rover Discovery Sport with its sleek, aerodynamic silhouette, with legendary Land Rover capability and a flexible interior, which all add up to a great looking vehicle that does so much more.
The bottom line is a Jaguar or Land Rover has never been so affordable.
Jaguar Land Rover has created a new bespoke team to support the needs of the Diplomatic community.
